Our hotel school offers various interrelated themes in hospitality industry such as hygiene, food production, food and beverage services and client  Services.

Learning Environment

Hotel studies at our school offers great opportunity to consider various career paths in the entertainment, recreation, food service and hotel management industries.


Teaching and learning activities in hotel studies are inclusive of both theoretical and practical assessment tasks. Hospitality as a practical subject, incorporates different themes from the hospitality industry such as food production, food and beverage service and hygiene.


 Students are equipped with the knowledge, skills and values that will give them a greater opportunity to flourish in hospitality university studies.

Benefits of choosing this subject in high school allows students to creatively express themselves through cooking and challenges them to think on their feet, work under pressure and find innovative solutions to problems that may arise. 


Subjects offered in the school based department of hotel are: hospitality, tourism, computer application technology and economics.


Tourism expose learners to different sectors like transport, accommodation, food and beverages and attraction. With skills taught, we are able to produce learners who can be entrepreneurs in future.

COMPUTER APPLICATION TECHNOLOGY


We do believe that Developing computer skills while still in high school is advantageous no matter what the learner may go on to pursue after high school. 


Often, the introduction of Information Technology (IT) is given in Grade 8 and Grade 9, however is not sufficient to be familiar enough with computers, which is why we encourage students to consider taking Computer Applications Technology as subject in Grade 10 through to matric.
